Hello! I hope you are doing well! If you didnt already know, Im in Australia right now and it is beautiful (even in the winter!). Im currently attending a YWAM base, taking part in a music Discipleship Training School. My classes here have been incredible and I have changed (in a good way) like I never have before! I have learned so much about God and the way He works. I am currently learning some hard lessons that are really changing the way I live my life. One of those lessons is, “obey first, then understand”. Recently I have been stepping out in faith even when I dont understand, only because I do understand that God has the ultimate plan for me. Right now, YWAM is doing something called Mega Cities. Mega Cities is a ministry that sends waves of young missionaries into cities that have a large population with a small percentage of Christians. Throughout the years that YWAM has been doing this, they have seen entire economies change because of the faith growth in the city. Right now, the Mega City is Kolkata, India. In India, right now, only 2.3% of the population is Christian. There is so much to be done in India right now and I hope to be joining the ministry there in about a month. In India, the teams are evangelizing, working with youth, and helping out in the community. The planned time to stay in India is about six weeks and then we will go to the Philippines for another five weeks with similar ministries. Currently I am trusting God for about $4,000. I have really been learning to be faithful to God about the small things, but the big things as well. I understand that God is all powerful and to give me the money would be easy, but I have also learned that I have to move and put some effort in first, and God will take care of the rest. I have been praying a lot about finances and asking God how he wants me to move and I have decided to do a chocolate fundraiser, and also to send out support letters (such as this one).
